for the finance and tax planning for the consolidated
Fund Management Group. Vertex Group managed and co-managed
venture capital funds totaling US$1b.
Ms Yap joined P&O Nedlloyd Containers Pte Ltd (from
1992-97) to pioneer the Trade Finance division in Singapore.
She headed the Trade Finance division. She was the only
Asian division Head at that time, managing the financials
for 2 key Asian profit centers with a turnover of over
US$400m.
